Earlier today we told you that the FireCore Dev-Team updated the Seas0nPass Jailbreaking tool to support Jailbreaking the Apple TV 2G Untethered running the recently released iOS 5.0.2 Build 9B830 firmware. The developer behind the popular Windows IPSW customization tool called Sn0wBreeze, iH8Sn0w has also recently tweeted that he has also updated Sn0wBreeze to version v2.9.6 to support Jailbreaking the Apple TV 2G Untethered running the iOS 5.0.2 Build 9B830firmware.
Another feature added in Sn0wBreeze v2.9.6 is the ability for Apple TV 2G users to resize their root partition. Never before has this functionality been present in Sn0wBreeze, so this is a nice little additional option for advanced users. Besides added support for the iOS 5.0.2 firmware and a root partition adjustment option, nothing else has changed in Sn0wBreeze v2.9.6.
