Apple Releases New PDF iOS Security Guide Detailing Security Features Found On iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad

Apple has had a history of not being the most transparent company in the world especially when it comes to the security architecture of their iOS devices. It looks like Apple is trying to embrace a more open nature however, as CNET reported yesterday that the fruit company published a detailed document solely on the security of iOS.


This guide outlines various encryption techniques, data protection features and the general security architecture of iOS. And with the guide being over 20 pages it is very much so the most comprehensive overview of iOS security we have seen released by Apple.


If you get the chance to browse through this guide you will notice there is a definite emphasis on security for the enterprise sector. With Apple also recently releasing a new webpage dedicated to theiPhone in business it is obvious they are further trying to push the fact that the iOS remains a clear choice for professionals.
